Joul-a-colada

Like a pina colada, but with 300 Joules lemon and dark rum. 

  • 2 oz. 300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • 1.5 oz. Dark Rum
  • 1 oz. Cream of Coconut
  • 1 oz. Coconut Water

 

Preparation:

Pour all ingredients into a Boston Shaker filled ¾ with ice.

Shake like crazy.

Add crushed ice to a Collins Glass.

Pour the Joul-a-colada over the top.

Garnish with a pineapple chunk.

The Edgarton Cocktail

  • 2 oz. 300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • 1 oz.  Barr Hill Gin or other gin
  • .50 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 dashes Bitter End Thai Bitters
  • 1 oz. Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water in Lemon essence

 

Preparation:

Stir together all ingredients except the Perrier in an old fashioned glass. 

Add the Perrier.

Garnish with a lemon twist.

  • 2 oz. 300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • 1 oz. Sorel
  • 2 oz. Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water in Pink Grapefruit
  • .50 oz. grilled pineapple juice (char over wood or in a cast iron pan)
  • Orange twist

 

Preparation:

Mix 300 Joules Ginger Infusion and Sorel together in a mixing glass; DO NOT shake this drink.

Place one long cube of hand-cut ice in a Collins glass.

Add the Perrier at the end.

Garnish with a grilled pineapple wedge and a twist of orange.

  • 2 oz. 300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • 4 oz. Ginger Beer (like Barrett’s or Bruce Cost Ginger)

 

Preparation:

Fill a Collins Glass with ice.

Pour 300 Joules Ginger Infusion into the glass.

Top with Ginger Beer.

Serve with a lime pinwheel.

  • 2 oz     Dark Rum
  • 1 oz     300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • .25       oz Green Chartreuse (Alternate: 1 oz Coca Cola)

 

Preparation:

Pour Green Chartreuse (or Coca Cola) into a Collins glass.

Pour in other ingredients.

Agitate gently with a bar spoon.

  • 2 oz. 300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • 1 oz. Gin (A Botanical like Hendrick’s NOT a London Dry)
  • .25 Orange Juice
  • .25 Lemon Juice
  • .25 Lime Juice   (note: ALL juices MUST be freshly squeezed for Maximum flavor)
  • 1 oz. Seltzer Water
  • Sprigs of fresh mint

 

Preparation:

All liquid ingredients go into a mixing glass filled ¾ with ice.

Stir gently to combine.

Pour over a few cubes of ice and GARNISH with a sprig of fresh mint.

  • 2 oz. 300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • .50 oz. Rye Whiskey
  • 1 oz. orange segments
  • 1 oz. lemon segments
  • 1 sugar cube
  • Angostura Bitters

 

Preparation:

Muddle orange, lemon and a sugar cube with a few shakes of Angostura Bitters.

Add the Rye Whiskey- keep muddling.

Add the 300 Joules in Ginger, stir.

Pour over 1 cube of ice and sip, don’t shoot!

The Classic 300 Joules Milk Punch

Ingredients for 2 glasses of various sizes.. it’s up to you really.. You could drink the entire one on a particularly tough morning and be no worse for the wear!

  • 3 oz. 300Joules Ginger Infusion
  • 4 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
  • 6 oz. Heavy Cream
  • 12 oz. Regular Milk
  • 3 oz. Real Vanilla Extract
  • 3 oz. Rock Candy Simple Syrup
  • Rock Ice
  • Angostura Bitters

 

Preparation: 

Add all ingredients to a pitcher except for the ice and mix well.

Place one cube of the rock ice in a rocks glass.

Pour the punch over the top and finish with a splash or two of the Angostura Bitters.

  • 2oz VSOP Cognac
  • 2oz Cold Coffee or 2 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 1.5oz 300 Joules Ginger Infusion
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters

 

Preparation:

Fill a rocks glass with ice.

Shake ingredients briefly and pour over fresh ice.

Garnish with orange peel.
